These are really detailed practice drawings. I like the light refrlection in the pupils. I like practicing too. Sometimes I just spend a morning or afternoon practicing. For my drawings on Bristol Board paper I use Sakura micron pens. I just started using them this year. I am a rapidograph fan. I like to use the smallest micron pen nib - 0.005. I usually use the same pen to draw the entire image. I just use different shading techniques. You should try micron pens on smooth bristol boards. it's like a hot knife slicing through butter. :-)
