Daily Face: March 31st

Today was a good day. I took every opportunity to enjoy the little things. A student came into my office today with this shirt on. He let me take a picture of it, I sent it to my 3rd daughter because this is her motto.

Daily Face: March 30th

Don't you hate it when you take a test and you read the question wrong. They are asking you for the opposite of the right answer. RRRRRR!

Spring: What's Blooming 2016?

I have the typical southern flowers growing in my yard. I'm so happy to see them blooming. We had a cold winter and some of my plants did not make it. I failed to bring them indoors, because they have survived past Georgia winters.

Daily Face: March 28th

I had a good Spring Break. Even though life has taken us on an unexpected journey that is difficult I'm trying to enjoy the now, because things will never be perfect. If you keeping waiting for it to be over you miss the small little everyday blessings.

Literary Friday: Purchased Books - I couldn't do it!

OK, so I couldn't do it! I found some books at the thrift that I couldn't pass by because they sparked my interest. I've been trying to learn yoga at home. I have video's watched YouTube, purchased how to video's but I still feel lost. So I turned to reading, with a book I can reference it to things I quite don't understand. I like the stick drawings and its set up with tabs for a weekly schedule that you follow.
(Goodreads excerpt) Too busy to attend yoga class but can't be bothered to read the endless instructions in the latest yoga book? In OM Yoga: A Daily Practice, celebrated yoga instructor Cyndi Lee brings the rigors and reqards of yoga class to the home with a totally unique method of teaching. Instead of wordy directiosn and minimal pictures, each series of asanas is communicated entirely through easy-to-follow illustrations and tips. Designed in a practical, concealed Wire-O format that lays flat on the floor while being used, OM Yoga is organized in tabbed sections for each day of the week. Monday is devoted to the Sun Salutation to welcome the week's start. Thursday's practice focusses on sitting poses, when the week's energy is dwindling. When joined together, each day's recipe cultivates a yoga practice that is challenging, energizing, and restorative. Including sections on meditation, breathing, and do-it-yourself yoga "recipes" for all levels, OM Yoga: A Guide to Daily Practice creates the possibility for a meaningful yoga practice in the privacy of the home.
The second book is about publishing your own artwork and design. If you have not attended higher learning for art and producing your work it is an insight of how trained artist do it themselves.
(Goodreads excerpt) Not satisfied with the new T-shirts on sale at the local mall? Maybe you'd like a wedding invitation that expresses your own vision, not your party planner's? This should be a redo. I really don't like it. Oh well, only Christ is perfect.

Daily Face: March 16th

It was an uneventful day!

Daily Face: March 15th

Daily Face: March 14th

Daily Face: March 8th

While at my class today during the break I sat on the bench looking through the window from the second floor. The landscape men were outside planting flowers. I said aloud, "I wish I was outside planting flowers" my classmates laughed.

Daily Face: March 7th the Redo

This illustration is a redo from March 4th. I'm much more happier with this illustration.

Daily Face: March 4th Failed

My March 4th daily face was a fail. Usually I just keep going despite the errors, but I was not feeling this at all. I will start over. I know what it should look like and this is not it.

Will You?

An friend of mine wanted some clothes made by a seamstress. She was trying to illustrate what she wanted but was not happy with her drawings, so she asked me to illustrate the clothing for her. This is what I did.

Tidbits of My Life

Daily Face: March 3rd

This illustration needs a redo. I've been so busy with working, going to school and life. My art is suffering from lack of time. I did this at the end of my work day. I want more time to paint like some of my work below:
