I was inspired. Although my work is not the way I intended it to look I'm okay with that.
I drew this as we traveled to my grandfathers funeral in North Carolina. He was my last living grandparent.
MY condolences on your granfather's passing. I know that it feels strange when the door closes on one generation... I really like your portrait, espeically with the addition of color. It looks really great in the large version - I can see the pretty designs on the scarf. Very nice! I also love the art for your banner!
