I've been enjoying my Paper 53 app, I even purchase the Pencil. Although it doesn't connect by bluetooth to my iPad 2 it still works as a stylus. I can also use it with my husbands iPad mini. I didn't have to purchase the painting tools again because they are free if you have the pencil.

New App: Paper 53-I think I'm in luv!

So while surfing I came across this app called paper 53. It is a space to create with digital ink. This was my very first time trying it. I think it has great potential for me. The first drawing utensil is free but the others cost a $1.99 each or you can just by the Essential Kit for  $6.99, but you still have to buy the mixer. I was so excited about buying the pencil stylus, but to my dismay my iPad 2 is obsolete. The pencil will not work with it because it does not have retina display. I still might purchase it and try it out own my husbands iPad mini. Also you can have your illustrations turn into a moleskine. Watch video - I'm in love with this, I can't wait to finish a journal.

Tuesdays Face

The Face Series

I didn't use my usual pattern for The Face. I drew it free hand and used watercolor, paint, and computer to color this one. I don't know if the exaggerated neck looks right with this technique.

I Could Use a Wish Right Now!

I took the opportunity and put it some time for myself and create some art. The lyrics of Airplanes kept playing in my head, so here is what it looks like to me.I think that every one, once in a while wish that they could have one wish come true, especially when you really need it. What would you do with your one wish?

Finally I am able to post something for Illustration Friday.I'm back at work. So my art time has dwindle everything has to be schedule. I wish I was star gazing.

My entry for Illustration Friday. Whenever I watch those outer space movies I think about being stranded out there in the middle of no where. I become so engrossed in the thought that I scare myself. I'm glad to be living on the earth. I don't think I would make a very good astronaut.

I had to get reading glasses. It took me a while to admit that my eyesight was changing. My children convinced me because I would always have to move my reading material away so I could focus.

I am really pleased with this. I think I will frame it and put it in my daughters bathrooms because I have to remind them to brush. You would think that teenagers would care more about their hygiene.
