Saturday Doodles
I was hoping to do some serious drawing, but I ended up with these two doodles. The red illustration is from some fabric markers I wanted to try on paper. They were free and I wasn't planning on doing anything with fabric.
The girl with the yellow background is me practicing on the Artrage app. My paper 53 pen stop working with the app, so I was trying a different drawing one.

Practicing in Pen
I needed to practice making portraits with ink, which you cannot erase if you make a mistake. Here are my first two.

CED - Just Draw
So when you don't have time or not feeling creative just draw! Time is limited so I sketched pictures from my iphone with a gel pen. I didn't worry about errors, which there are many. By not worrying about mistakes it helps me become free. The pictures are of my daughters and me.

Out of My Comfort Zone
This is truly outside of my comfort zone. I painted this on canvas and I attempted painting a face. I usually don't paint on canvas because I would hate to ruin it. Also I used acrylic paint instead of watercolors and pen.
I've been reading an art book about skin tones. I am not happy with her nose and hair. My daughter says she looks very disco. More practice needed.
