Inspire Me Thursday: Believe



God will always make a way where there is no way.

 I didn't finish my current inspiration this morning because I was trying to fix my computer so  I had to use a previous inspiration. It helps me to believe because there were times in my life that I didn't see a way.

Award

I received the stylish blogger award from Sandy Coleman Yeah! Thanks Sandy. Part of the acceptance includes telling seven things about myself that other bloggers don't know and passing it on to 15 other blogs that I admire.

1. When I step into a library or bookstore I wish I could read every book.

2. I am currently wearing braces. My teeth have always been a little crooked but after I turned 45 they became really crooked. I hated the way my smile look. I'm almost 50 with braces.

3. I love cheesecake.

4. I loved British authors.

5. I seldom watch TV and I hate for the TV to be on for background noise. My husband loves TV. It is a constant conflict.

6.I'm trying to become a minimalist. I used to collect antiques and other things but your house can become really clutter so I stopped collecting.

7. I'm a very slow typist. I pluck. My fingers never do what I want.

Leap

IF:Leap

The theme for IF and IMT were the same so I couldn't decide where to post each picture, so I posted them together. I hope you like at least one of them.

Inspire Me Thursday:Leap This is the smallest painting I ever attempted. It measures 3x5.

Love in Action

This picture was one that I did not like, so I stuck it on a shelf. The challenge of Action painting gave me an outlet to dap but all over her face and hair. I also added some text of what love in action is. The original drawing.

IF: Multiple Snakes: Young Medusa

Are those snakes? I call this Young Medusa because after I had finished this picture, her hair looked like she had baby snakes crawling around.

Inspire Me Thursday: Glass

I wanted to paint on glass but my schedule won't allow me to get that creative. So I tried to put my focus on the glass window.

Out of My Comfort Zone

This is truly outside of my comfort zone. I painted this on canvas and I attempted painting a face. I usually don't paint on canvas because I would hate to ruin it. Also I used acrylic paint instead of watercolors and pen. I've been reading an art book about skin tones. I am not happy with her nose and hair. My daughter says she looks very disco. More practice needed.

Inspire Me Thursday: Abandon Art

I use to have time to practice my violin and create art. My abandoned art was a homage to my beloved violin. I was so pleased with my embroidery that I didn't know where to take this piece. My completed art. A cover for a journal.

I was inspired. Although my work is not the way I intended it to look I'm okay with that. I drew this as we traveled to my grandfathers funeral in North Carolina. He was my last living grandparent.
