The Process of a Painting with Paper 53

This is a portrait of a young lady with beautiful chocolate skin. I just wanted to show what it looks like as I paint on my iPad. I didn't think about it until I had almost finished her face. Next time I hope to show more steps. Click on picture for larger view.

Show Your Face: Eyes

On the Show Your Face challenge the focus is still on eyes. I seem to have a tendency to draw them very large. I did this portrait of my niece on Paper 53 with my iPad, which although it might seem simple requires a lot of time on my part. Everything I have learned has been self taught. Try it for yourself and see what you can do.

Sunday Face: May 3,2014

Sunday Sketchbook and Notes
Thanking God for all of his wonderful mercies he has show us. It was a good day. I like to keep my Sunday's simple. We went to worship service, came home, ate lunch, took a nap, watered my garden, went back to 6 o'clock service came home, ate a snack, watched a movie. Nothing fast pace or stressful. In my What to Wear illo I got tired of drawing so many small dots, so the dress looks more white than it should.

Sunday Face: April 26th

Went to Bible Study and Worship Service. Had dinner with the Marshall's. They Have a fabulous house in the country. If I live in the country I could raise chickens like my grandparents and grow lots of vegetables.

Sunday Face & What to Wear

Today is the Lord's Day. My family and I always go to Morning and Evening Service on Sundays. This is a page from my Sunday Journal Page. I was a little drowsy I must admit. I'm attempting to start my What to Wear illustrations, let' see how long I can last this time. I think once a week should be enough.

CED: More Paper 53

Jazzmen
I've been spending more time with my iPad and paper 53. I've been practicing portraits. It's always good to learn and try something new.

Church Ladies with Paper 53

Pinkness
I was inspired by Karin Jurick  "Goodness" Church lady. I didn't have time to paint, so I did this on my iPad. The two ladies are my sisters in Christ. They are good friends, one Sunday they both happen to wear pink to service. I snapped a picture of them.

Playing with Paper 53: In the Clinic

Waiting to see Principal
I really prefer to draw on paper, but it is always good to learn new things. I really want to get better using my iPad, Paper 53 and pencil. I did some quick in the clinic portraits (no face detail) then I tried to do some student portraits with facial detail.

In the Clinic and a Painting

Another in the Clinic drawing on my iPad, this student suffers from migraines. I am trying to continue the art everyday theme, so I painted over a drawing I did.

Paper 53: In the Clinic

In the Clinic
I admire everyone who have beautiful scenes before them to practice drawing or different settings. My setting is my office and when time allows I get to draw a student. This I drew on my iPad with paper 53. The second drawing is just something I did in my giant sketchbook. It's part of my letting go. No rhyme or reason just whatever and it doesn't have to be perfect or something I'm proud of.

Making Art with Paper 53 and iPad 2

Froggy

I've been enjoying my Paper 53 app, I even purchase the Pencil. Although it doesn't connect by bluetooth to my iPad 2 it still works as a stylus. I can also use it with my husbands iPad mini. I didn't have to purchase the painting tools again because they are free if you have the pencil.
