AEDM: Day 16 Cormorant

The Cormorant they have striking blue eyes. Once again I almost didn't have any art for today. Sunday is a day of worship for my family. I also had some volunteer work to do, so art was pushed to the very end.
Once again I did a bird. I drew and colored this bird on my iPad using 53 and the pencil. Then I cleaned it up in Photoshop. I just wasn't in the mood to sit at my desk and draw while football is on.

Another uncolored illustration that I revisited, added some color with markers and did the background in Photoshop.

Drawing in my Moleskine

Revisiting Danny Gregory's book Everyday Matters I decided to draw what was before me. Here are a few illustrations from moleskine. It is different views in our family room. I've only colored one using Photoshop for now I think I'll let them stay color free since I'm working on just drawing.

When a Grandparent passes away its nice to have something other than memories to hold to. My grandmother was a quilter which was something she taught me to do. I also have some of her handmade quilts.

Despite everything that is going on in my life I must find time to create. So I didn't do my daily chores this morning. I create this. I usually don't illustrate me. I don't know why. So I need to broaden my horizons.

Learning Photoshop

I learned how to multiply my illustrations in photoshop, which made coloring so much easier.
