I Could Use a Wish Right Now!

I took the opportunity and put it some time for myself and create some art. The lyrics of Airplanes kept playing in my head, so here is what it looks like to me.I think that every one, once in a while wish that they could have one wish come true, especially when you really need it. What would you do with your one wish?

Finally I am able to post something for Illustration Friday.I'm back at work. So my art time has dwindle everything has to be schedule. I wish I was star gazing.

IF: Diary

Here's my submission for Illustration Friday a diary entry about my boring shoes.I do however have some nice shoes. I will draw them next time. This is what it says:

I recently read an article about "What do your shoes say about you? All of the women highlighted had jobs where they could wear really nice shoes. My job requires that I wear practical shoes. My boots are as flashy as I get and when spring comes it is time to put them away. The sexy looking open toe shoe is not mine but the inner me. I don't wear my toes out when I'm working at school. So I guess if I was in that article they would say "she's boring."

I think this would make a great book cover. I really need to learn how to get some of my art published.

I'm not going to make it to 30 illustrations for June I had to go out of town , and one day I spent in ER with daughter. At least I tried. There is always July.

My entry for Illustration Friday. Whenever I watch those outer space movies I think about being stranded out there in the middle of no where. I become so engrossed in the thought that I scare myself. I'm glad to be living on the earth. I don't think I would make a very good astronaut.

June Challenge - #18 Girl with Glasses

I had to get reading glasses. It took me a while to admit that my eyesight was changing. My children convinced me because I would always have to move my reading material away so I could focus.

June Challenge - #17 Brush Daily

I am really pleased with this. I think I will frame it and put it in my daughters bathrooms because I have to remind them to brush. You would think that teenagers would care more about their hygiene.
