From the Calendar that sits on my desk and pleads for me to draw something on its blank pages.

Journal Pages
Trying to mix it up by showing some of the drawing from my daily journal. Some days I draw what happen for the day and sometimes I just draw. When I don't have any inspiration I copy clipart drawing with my own twist. My journal entries are too private to share.

You would think an empty nester would have more time! July 7th, 10th and 12th
You would think an empty nester would have more time to draw, paint and do whatever you like. However I am finding that is not the case. How was I ever able to manage my time better with four daughters?
So I still draw, but I don't seem to have time to post. I see more people giving up their blogs and just post to instagram. I'm not ready to do that.
Once more I'm giving it a go, Starting off with my Daily Calendar Drawings. I still like to play catch up.

Review: Mindshift: Break Through Obstacles to Learning and Discover Your Hidden Potential
Mindshift: Break Through Obstacles to Learning and Discover Your Hidden Potential by Barbara Oakley
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Think your brain stops learning as you age, wrong. You can keep learning new things. Think you can't learn just because they teach everyone the same and you need something different, then you are labeled a failure, wrong. You can learn.
This was a very interesting book. I also learned about mooc's!
