Daily Face: November 30th

Thanksgiving has past and now we look forward to Christmas. It's time for me to order more calendar pages for 2016.
Went back to work. Of course everyone had schoolitis (its Monday and I'm too sick to be here). I made it through.

Daily Face: NFA November 25th

My Daily Face portrait is of me in my High School yearbook. My friends mother called me "that Blue Girl" I don't ever think she called me by my first name. I really liked my maiden last name, Blue. When I look at my yearbook its funny to look at the hair styles everyone was trying to have the layered flip.

Since I was not at work I decided to draw pictures from my yearbook Class of 1981. When I was looking through my yearbook, I was wondering why my picture was not showing in the list of last names that begin with the letter A. Then it dawned on me. I was not married my last name was Blue it did not begin with my married name, lol!

Just Playing Around

I was just playing around with an old illustration I made a while ago. Thought I would add color to it. I don't know if I'm finished with it yet.
It feels good not to think about work for a whole week.

I really like the smile on this student. Although its not a perfect smile it gives him character. No school for a whole week. I hope I get lots of reading in.

The Pink Tutu

No daily face today. I did not go to work because of my big exam. Which I am happy to announce that I passed with a 92!
This pink tutu and black & white scarf came from a gift teabag from my friend Jackie. I had opened it on my desk and I thought I will draw a picture around it.

Daily Face: November 17th

I had a hands on exam today. Of course I froze. I thought I would just have to show that I knew what I was doing, not tell them. But I made it. Tomorrow I have a really big exam, that I'm not quite ready for.

I faced Monday with my happy face. It was a good day.

Possibly the worst day at work for this school year. I pray that I can regather myself and be ready to start anew on Monday.

What's Blooming!

My rose bush pushed out a few more blooms. Of course I had to cut some for my desk.

 I hope all the Veterans who served our country had a wonderful day! To those of you who don't know, I served. See those combat boots. When I served you did PT (physical training) in those boots. No sneakers for us.

It's rainy and cold today with lots of homework for me.

Feeling a little better today. It was a slow day at work. I was able to get some reading in. I love this shirt this young lady was wearing. Glad it is Friday!

It was a pretty good day. Trying to live in the moment and be grateful for all that God has done for me.

Where did fall go? Today in the south it was really hot. I want to feel the chill in the air and wear my fall clothes. Put on my favorite boots. Sometimes I just wear my clothes despite the heat. Whenever I go out I laugh because real southerners have on shorts and tank tops. I'm originally from the north and in November I want a brisk chill.

I let my husband tempt me with a visit to Barnes & Noble after I got off of work. Well it turned into a rather late evening and I had homework to do. I was so tired but I pushed through it because if I would have taken a break as he suggested I would not arise until the next morning.
