Face 6 - Gentle



March gently with the shadows, yet breath the wind.



I have a poetry board in my office at school which I allow children to create while their waiting. There is one student who loves the board. This is her short poem.

Face 5 - Groovy

Groooovy!

A little flashback to the 1960's. She could probably fit right in with today's fashion.

Face 4 - Innocent

I'm not that innocent!

Sometimes the quiet, demure ones are not innocent at all, they just deceive with their looks.

Face 3 - Je suis une femme



I can bring home the bacon, fry it up in a pan, and never let my husband forget he's a man. Do you remember that commercial for Enjoli perfume?



Je peux ramener chez le bacon, faire frire jusqu'à dans une poêle et jamais laisser mon mari oublier que c'est un homme. Cause, je suis une femme - w-o-m-a-n.

IF: Influence

" I don't like her!" Why not?, I think she's okay.

Sometimes you can be an influence for good. Try not to feed the negative in people. I haven't participated in Illustration Friday in a while so I thought I would give this word a shot.

Ok you caught me!

We'll from my photo of new sketch book you can tell that I had already started with drawings. No color for this one. Maybe I should add blue to background.

Face 1 - Which Way

 If I could only know the future I could decide which way to go.

Face 1 for my new sketchbook. I really couldn't decide on my colors. Also I purchased an A Gallery Studio Art Set. Maybe I can let go of my fear of color in my sketchbook.

One Down time for a New One

So I have completed my little moleskin and now it is time for a new one. I purchased the hardcover watercolor moleskin this time because I love the weight of the paper. I also thought that I would try to add color, but I'm so afraid of adding color to my original drawings in my sketchbooks. I usually make a copy on my printer then add color. Lets hope I can get over my fear.

My goal is to post each picture. Hopefully I can be faithful to my new challenge.

The Face

 

So I am trying to catch up on my drawing. It's so funny how you think when summer comes you will have all of this time off to paint and draw all day, but I have come to the realization that I work better with a schedule. When my children are in school and I'm at work at Middle School I'm more focus. So school starts Monday, we will h have to focus on how we spend our time.

These faces are part of my collection called the face. They are not perfect but I like them. However I don't have a clue what to do with as far as color goes.
