I'm not going to make it to 30 illustrations for June I had to go out of town , and one day I spent in ER with daughter. At least I tried. There is always July.

My entry for Illustration Friday. Whenever I watch those outer space movies I think about being stranded out there in the middle of no where. I become so engrossed in the thought that I scare myself. I'm glad to be living on the earth. I don't think I would make a very good astronaut.

I had to get reading glasses. It took me a while to admit that my eyesight was changing. My children convinced me because I would always have to move my reading material away so I could focus.

I am really pleased with this. I think I will frame it and put it in my daughters bathrooms because I have to remind them to brush. You would think that teenagers would care more about their hygiene.

Girl with halter. I am ten days behind on my challenge. I really would like to be using real paint, but atlas I have to chauffeur my children to several activities today and work on signs for our Summer series program.

This isn't exactly a paisley design but it reminds me of it.I drew this picture and colored it on my tablet pc. I've been teaching myself how to use photoshop. I don't think that I would have learned what I have if it wasn't for youtube.I've also challenge myself to create something with color everyday for the month of June , I am so far behind.

June Challenge - Monday 6/7

I did this drawing on the 7th but have not had time to add color until today. I wish I wasn't so busy. This is an olde to bobi, one a my favorite French artist. I love her work.

Creative Everyday Challenge

I work for the school district so I am off for the summer. Usually my art slows down to nothing, so I am challenging myself to create something everyday for the month of June. It doesn't matter what media I use just creat. This is my first art work for this month. I did this on my IBM lenovo X61 tablet. It is an attempt to copy work of John Singer Sargent. I think everything looks pretty good except for the face. Hopefully by the end of this challenge I will have improved.
