Daily Face: April 23rd & 24th

Yesterday I was so busy at work that I forgot to take a picture of my desk calendar. Today wasn't so busy. I was able to finish reading a book called "Who Switched Off My Brain?" by Dr. Caroline Leaf it was okay. Things that I have read before.
I'm afraid my daily drawing is only these daily student portraits. I have a schedule of what I should be creating everyday but it is just not working out that way. I have a my daily painting station set up but no painting is going on over there. It just sits and looks at me.

My weekly submission for Creative Everyday, the theme being poetry which  is not exactly my forte, but I'm giving it a shot. The drawing is not that great, but I was trying to focus on the words.

I had a good day at work. The time went by so fast. I drew my daily face portrait and scribble this woman on a scratch pad she's something.

The theme for Creative Everyday is poetry. I was looking for a poem to go with my painting The Look  nothing really said what I wanted so I attempted my own little simple poem. I am not a poet!

Painting in My Sketchbook Giant

This is a painting from my giant mix media sketchbook. I generally just paint it. I have no plans when I start with a blank page. It's a good creative exercise for me especially since I'm afraid of color.
