Anniversary

2014

 Today is my 33rd Anniversary! My husband and I still hold on to each other. He is my best friend. We have been on this journey through thick and thin. When times were good and bad, high and low, plenty and little. My prayer is for all those out there to stay together with things get tough because when things are in the low valley they will rise to the peak and oh what joy you shall have.

CED: Unknown

I haven't been very creative this summer, but now that school is back in session I can get back to creativity.
My submission for Creative Everyday: Unknown. When you take that leap into marriage you leap into the unknown "to have and to hold from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish; from this day forward until death do us part."
The painting inspiration came from a magazine photo, I can't remember which one. I left out the flowers and turned her suit into a dress. Sorry I can't give the proper credits.

AEDM- Wedding Day Blues

This is not my best work. I'm currently in a slump. On your wedding day you may get cold feet about what you are getting into, bcause you really don't know what to expect. I got married at a young age and I'm happy to announce that it has been 28 years that we have been together on October 29th. I still feel like we still have so much to share together.

IF: Forgotten: How did she get me here?

In this illustration the man has forgotten how she got him to this point. He thinks he making a big mistake, but the woman on the other hand is saying I got you now. Too bad marriage isn't forever like in our vows. I have been married for 25 years, longer than my own parents were married. My stepmother is only 9 years older than me.
