What to Wear: Casual

Dress
I have still been faithful to my challenge to see how long I can go without purchasing new clothes. The drawing is of what I wore for a casual day. I love this vintage jacket.
I spotted this dress and housecoat that I would have purchased if I could shop.

Drawing in my Moleskine

I really don't know what I want to draw in this moleskine and I find myself being an impatient artist. I want beautiful illustrations with great detail but I'm impatient. Here are a few that I attempted.
I wanted to draw my beautiful lace gloves, but I ended up with this drawing of my hand.

We celebrated by dad's and stepmother's birthday at Pappadeux.

This is what I wore to birthday, although the J. Crew dress was a different blue. The hairdo was how my daughter wore her hair.

My husband had a Plymouth Valiant 1964 push button. It was a great 2nd car that only cost us $600 dollars. We had it for many years. It went to Texas and Colorado. However over the years it started to rust and it wasn't worth $30,000 for restoration.

Sketchbook Sunday

Today was Friends & Family Day at the Church of Christ. A day of worship, fellowship and food. It was a great day. I  wore my gray dress with a black lace cover up, it is the same length as my dress. The sermon was very good, Are You in the Lord's Army? As you can see from my journal there were a lot of scriptural references, can you believe that I actually missed some of them.

AEDM- Wedding Day Blues

This is not my best work. I'm currently in a slump. On your wedding day you may get cold feet about what you are getting into, bcause you really don't know what to expect. I got married at a young age and I'm happy to announce that it has been 28 years that we have been together on October 29th. I still feel like we still have so much to share together.
