Still Here!
It has been a long time since I’ve posted anything other than a book. It’s funny how time slips away and you get too busy. I’m still here in the background drawing, gardening, and living life. Praying everyone is safe during this pandemic.

Daily Face: March 8th
While at my class today during the break I sat on the bench looking through the window from the second floor. The landscape men were outside planting flowers. I said aloud, "I wish I was outside planting flowers" my classmates laughed.

Daily Face: January 29th
It was a good day. I looked through a garden magazine today and it made me long for a day of gardening and playing in the dirt. It showcased many garden objects from junk finds. My prayer is that God will bless me and keep me that I can play in my back yard this year.

New Garden Ornaments
I love to go to Estate Sales. I often go with my husband you can find valuable things at a very reasonable price. Check out my new garden ornaments. I purchased the pedestal with antique lantern for $10. The antique cast iron garden pickets (9) for $15. The singer cast iron support was an item my husband purchased.Tuesday, September 22, 2015
My Reads: A Growing Gardener

I've had this book on my shelf for a while. Although I would glance at the wonderful illustrations by the author I've just recently picked it up to read. Abbie makes you want to see her garden, and look up people like the plant-man. I really enjoyed this gardening book. And I did look up the people she mentioned. It shows that life moves on and you cannot know the future.
However take a look inside, she has these little mini book pages inside. She is a wonderful artist.

Daily face: August 5 & Houseplants
Today is our school registration day.
You know as much as I love gardening I have only 3 real houseplants. They are orchids, all of my other plants are artificial. I do like to put dried flowers in vases, cups, and bowls.

Daily Face: July 27 & Welcome bike
We went to our daughters Jack & Jill baby shower this weekend. If you do not know what that is, it is when men are also invited to participate. They all seem to have a great time including my dad who is 76 years old. It was held in historic Roswell, Georgia. The picture of the welcome bike was in the garden where the shower was held.

What's Blooming in my Garden
This is a Crocosmia "Eva" Lily it requires little care. I love the vibrant color it adds to my garden. I am one of those gardeners who loves to plants perennials.

When I think of enjoying my garden these are the dreams in my head. I would love to build a table around a shady tree or have a sunroom with overgrown plants. How dreamy!

What's Blooming in My Garden?
My plans for my greenhouse have not come into reality yet, but I still have hopes and dreams. I love to see my beautiful flowers blooming, they filled my heart with gladness. I have also been harvesting my fruits and vegetables. However something has eaten all of my kale. Once it was large enough to start eating I would go out and get some to put in our daily nutribullet juice drink. I guess it was ready for the critters too because they ate all of it. I guess I need to find a natural deterrent to keep them off.
