Routine

March 21 Waiting in my van to pick up my daughter behind another mom in a van waiting to pickup her children. I know the date is late posting this put I wanted to add some color.

EDM # 24 - Draw a piece of fruit

I've never really tried working with watercolor before. I've been inspire by all of the artist on the web. So I've really been practicing since I started back on my journey to be creative.

Work & Homework

March 27 Today at work all I wanted to do is go home. But of course when I get home my daughter has tons of homework (that I have to help her with). I did this in between a project and regular homework. This chair is actually a picture frame that sits on my desk.

Myself

Not feeling myself today. There is a sadness that surrounds me. My art is not good enough to express myself today. I've been holding on for so long...., and yet I must continue to endure this road I am on, I really need something good to happen.

Self Portaits

I have never been good at drawing faces. So I am practicing drawing myself.

Total

Total Darkness I forgot to turn the light on when I went into the records room and the door close on me. I really couldn't think of much with total. I don't feel confident about my attempts. Sum of a Family A man and a woman have a little baby they make 3 in a family. This is a possible for Illustration Friday. I listen to Multiplication Rock every morning on my way to taking my children to school. NO EYES

This is a picture that I did back in 1980 before marriage and children. My husband saw it and said that I was pretty good. I told him I was back then when I was in High School, but I did lack one thing I couldn't make my eyes look as good as my drawing they always looked like cartoon eyes so I left them off. So now after 20+ years I am practicing eyes again.

No create juices flowing here. So here I am wired on coffee, books, classical music, and IF. This drawing was done back in 2002 after I came from the dentist office. He has such nice watercolor art. I only attempted 2 drawings that year. My Wired Cat

EDM #4

Don't be too harsh. I need these challenges. My cup purchased @ Books-A-Million 9 years ago. Irreplaceable! My friends think that I'm strange but I love my coffee cup. It's called my right hand and I never leave home without it. My daughters can verify this. I have been known to disregard the fact that I might make them late for school because I had to turn the van around and go back home to get my coffee cup. (I know its a mug but cup sounds daintier :)

Attempts and Inspiration

There are so many talented artist that I have added to my Artist Inspirations. They have inspire me in so many ways. So have the nice people who have been leaving comments. I think my drawing has been slowly improving. However I need lots of practice with painting. Here is an attempt at a drawing that I painted.

Illustration Friday: Hide

I used to hide myself by using chemical relaxers to straighten my hair. I've freed myself and am happy with my natural self.

Daisies

During a slow period at work I drew this picture and began coloring it. The children who came to the Clinic saw it on my desk, they were very nice with their comments. I'm so happy that I'm attempting to draw again.

Bottled Up Series

Sometimes I feel like I'm in a bottle. Blogging, IF, and the newly discovered Everyday Matters is helping me to get out.The legs look funny. I couldn't image how to get in a bottle.

I wanted to submit this picture for sprout on IF but it didn't turn out the way I wanted it to. I think that it is too dark.
